EMS Software Update: March 5, 2024
Claire Frank

We’re been springing into action, addressing challenges, and embracing growth opportunities in the product. We're also thrilled to introduce our newest feature: Hide From Form. With this addition, you can now hide field data in form views, giving you more ways to protect data on the site!

What's New

  • Hide From Form! If you select "Hide From Form" for a field used in a form, its value will be hidden when admins are viewing the form. Check out this section in our Fields Overview article to learn more.
  • Two back-end billing improvements:
    • An improvement to mitigate discrepancies between contract fees and rules, to ensure a seamless alignment with terms.
    • Improvements to the backend workflow of declined payments to safeguard against them causing $0 pending payments.
  • UI update to the Advanced form error: To add a field to a form, you need to select who it should be mapped to or whether it should be unmapped. Mapping tells the form where the data should go. For instance, if you map a field to 'CHILD,' it knows the data belongs to the student. With this update,  if you leave the map dropdown blank, you’ll see an error reminding you to make a selection in the mapping dropdown before moving forward.

Bug Fixes

  • Review Module: The My Completed Reviews page had a sudden case of wanderlust and started redirecting folks back to the My Reviews page instead of staying on the Completed Reviews page. Luckily, our developers swooped in to wrangle it back on track.
  • Accounts: It seems the system was feeling a bit rebellious, refusing to save changes on the Parent and Admin Portal Account pages. Our trusty developers donned their capes and swiftly restored order!
  • Billing UI Design: Some of the Billing Management tab areas needed a UI design update for users utilizing the Custom CSS design feature. Our proficient developers made things beautiful again.
  • UI Styling: Following a recent back-end update, minor style adjustments were observed, such as the appearance of the grades menu in two columns instead of one. Our diligent team promptly identified and rectified these discrepancies, ensuring that the interface now reflects its intended design.
