Mass Notifications 10.48 release notes

Welcome to the 10.48 release of Mass Notifications. This maintenance-focused update ensures a more stable and efficient platform for our users. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, this release will be rolled out on 04/10, 04/15, and 04/17.

Thank you for your continued partnership.

Usability enhancements

  • Expanded Group Display Limits: To improve your experience in managing groups, we've increased the default limit for displaying groups to 25. This change means you can now see more groups at once on the recipient selection screen, making it easier to manage your groups.
  • Advanced Group Search: Finding the right group is now faster and more intuitive with our new search filter feature within the groups tab. This enhancement allows you to swiftly locate any group you need. Plus, with the addition of an "All" option in the display filter, you can quickly access all your groups at once.

Bug fixes

  • Student Group Messaging: Fixed an issue where students assigned to alphanumeric grade levels (e.g., "4H") were incorrectly included in numerical-only grade levels (e.g., "4".)
  • Group Access Permissions: Resolved an issue that was introduced in 10.47 that impacted group management permissions.
  • Query Groups: Fixed a bug affecting the creation of query groups with multiple filters.
  • My Groups Section: Enhanced the My Groups interface, addressing pagination quirks and streamlining group selection for a smoother user experience.
  • Parent Group Import: Resolved issue that caused parent groups created via imports to display value of 0.
  • Photo Uploads: Fixed an issue that previously prevented photo uploads for accounts linked to email addresses, ensuring smooth and reliable photo uploading for all users.
  • Calendar Event Descriptions: Special characters will no longer appear incorrectly in calendar event descriptions in both the mobile app and the app configuration.
  • Downloaded Message Content: Downloaded message content PDFs now accurately reflect the custom message content for automated messages.
  • Custom Linked Icons: We've addressed an issue that restricted users from setting certain URLs as custom icons in the mobile app.
  • Twitter Posting: Resolved an issue affecting Twitter post reliability and introduced enhanced status feedback. Clients with accounts added before v10.45 must re-authenticate to ensure continued Twitter functionality.

That’s all, for now. We appreciate your valuable feedback and suggestions for improving Mass Notifications.

Your input helps us enhance the user experience and deliver better with each release. Thank you for your support, and we'll see you in the next release!
